ตลอด 79 ปีที่คุณย่าของฉันผ่านประสบการณ์มามากมายในโลกใบนี้ ท่านเองไม่เคยเห็นน้ำท่วมไทยครั้งไหนหนักหนาสาหัสรุนแรงเท่าครั้งนี้มาก่อนเลย... จึงไม่ต้องแปลกใจเลยว่านี่เองก็เป็นครั้งแรกในชั่วชีวิต 30 ปีของฉันที่ได้เห็นความพินาศย่อยยับของบ้านเมืองที่ถูกสายน้ำเชี่ยวกรากถาโถมโรมรันเข้าใส่ ไหนจะคราบน้ำตาของพี่น้องไทยที่สิ้นเนื้อประดาตัว อดอยากหิวโหยอีกเล่า... บ้านเรือนนับไม่ถ้วนที่จมอยู่ใต้น้ำกว่า 3 เมตร เกษตรกรที่ต้องเห็นผลผลิตยืนต้นตาย ซึ่งเท่ากับเป็นการปิดประตูสู่รายได้ที่จะหามามีได้เพื่อใช้หนี้ใช้สินและลืมตาอ้าปาก ภาพที่เห็นหมู ไก่ เป็ด ทั้งหลายจมน้ำตายยกฟาร์มอย่างน่าเวทนาทำให้เจ้าของฟาร์มส่งเสียงร่ำไห้ระงมเพราะรู้สึกผิดบาปในใจที่ต้องทนเห็นพวกมันตายไปต่อหน้าแต่ทว่าช่วยเหลืออะไรไม่ได้เพราะพวกเขาเองก็แทบจะเอาตัวไม่รอดเหมือนกัน หันมองมาที่เหล่าแรงงานบ้าง ณ วันที่ฉันกำลังเขียนบล็อกอยู่นี้ก็กว่า 3 แสนชีวิตแล้วที่ได้รับผลกระทบโดยตรงเนื่องจากโรงงานต่าง ๆ จมอยู่ใต้น้ำ นาทีนี้น้ำกำลังเข้าโจมตีนิคมอุตสาหกรรมเป็นแห่งที่ 7 แล้ว... ขณะที่ทุกฝ่ายกำลังเร่งป้องกันกรุงเทพมหานครของเราอย่างสุดหัวจิตหัวใจให้อยู่รอดปลอดภัย นั่นไม่ใช่เพื่อคนกรุงเทพฯ หรือเพื่อไม่ให้บ้านของคนในเมืองกรุงจมน้ำ หากแต่เพื่อรักษาความอยู่รอดของบ้านนี้เมืองนี้ทั้งหมด เพราะหากน้ำลองได้เข้าโจมตีพระนครของเรา ซึ่งขณะนี้ถือเป็นศูนย์กลางเพียงแห่งเดียวในการบัญชาการ ประสานและระดมสรรพกำลังให้ความช่วยเหลือทุกภาคส่วนและฟื้นฟูประเทศได้แล้วล่ะก็ นั่นคงไม่ต่างอะไรกับประเทศชาติไทยเราและคนไทยเราทุกคนจมหายไปกับน้ำครั้งนี้อย่างแน่นอน...
ณ นาทีนี้ฉันเองยังมีฐานะเป็นคนกลุ่มน้อยผู้โชคดี ซึ่งหากดูตามแผนที่แล้วจะเห็นได้ว่าฉันอยู่ที่หมายเลข 2 ซึ่งคือสมุทรปราการ เป็นเพียงจังหวัดเดียวที่เป็นพื้นที่สีขาว หมายถึงสถานการณ์ปกติ ซึ่งถูกรายล้อมรอบด้านไปด้วยจังหวัดต่าง ๆ ที่เต็มไปด้วยผู้ประสบภัย แม้แต่กรุงเทพมหานคร หมายเลข 1 นั้นเริ่มได้รับผลกระทบแล้ว... ที่เป็นเช่นนี้เพราะบ้านของฉันตั้งอยู่บริเวณปากอ่าวไทย จุดที่น้ำเหนือจากแม่น้ำจะไหลลงสู่ทะเลพอดิบพอดี มีเพียงแค่น้ำทะเลขึ้นสูง และการเกิดสตรอมเสริชในทะเล เพียงเท่านั้นที่จะทำให้บ้านของฉันจมอยู่ใต้น้ำ แต่ฉันเองก็ไม่ประมาท ได้เตรียมตัวไว้บ้างแล้ว
ภาพที่งดงามที่สุดในความทรงจำที่ฉันจะบอกผ่านคนรุ่นหลังต่อ ๆ ไป คือภาพของทหารหาญที่ยืนอยู่แถวหน้าสู้กับน้ำอย่างไม่รู้ท้อ... ภาพที่จิตอาสาต่างพากันออกมาบรรจุกระสอบทรายสร้างพนังกั้นน้ำและบรรจุถุงยังชีพเร่งลำเลียงไปช่วยผู้ประสบภัย... ภาพของผู้ประสบภัยที่ลุกขึ้นมาเป็นอาสาสมัครในด้านต่าง ๆ เพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยด้วยกันเองที่เดือดร้อนมากกว่าตน... เหนือสิ่งอื่นใดทั้งปวง คือน้ำพระราชหฤทัยอันประเสริฐของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ ที่ทรงมีพระราชกระแสรับสั่งมิให้มีการป้องกันพระบรมมหาราชวังและที่ประทับส่วนพระองค์เป็นการพิเศษ ให้ทุกหน่วยงานจงเร่งกันช่วยเหลือประชาราษฎร์ของพระองค์เป็นสำคัญ จากพระราชกระแสรับสั่งนี้ใครเลยจะนึกเล่าที่จะได้เห็นพระตำหนักจักรีบงกชของสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอเจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณ์วลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี จมอยู่ใต้น้ำเช่นกัน แต่ถึงกระนั้น น้ำพระทัยเปี่ยมล้นด้วยพระเมตตายังทรงอุตสาหะ เปิดพระตำหนักในส่วนที่น้ำท่วมไม่ถึงให้เป็นศูนย์พักพิงแก่อาณาประชาราษฎร์ พระองค์ท่านเองยังทรงออกตรวจสุขภาพของผู้ประสบภัยร่วมกับคณะแพทย์จากหลายโรงพยาบาลอีกด้วย พระสุรเสียงอันเมตตายังก้องอยู่ในหัวจิตหัวใจของฉันอยู่เลย... พระองค์ท่านตรัสว่า "...ข้าพเจ้าสัญญาว่าจะไม่ให้เจ้าหน้าที่สูบน้ำออกจากบ้านของข้าพเจ้า เพราะข้าพเจ้ารู้ดีว่านั่นจะยิ่งทำให้บ้านของพี่น้องต้องจมอยู่ในน้ำลึกมากขึ้นไปอีก...."
- ขอบารมีพระสยามเทวาธิราชและพระมหากษัตริย์ในรัชกาลก่อนคุ้มครองรักษาประเทศชาติไทยให้อยู่รอดปลอดภัย
- ขอเป็นแรงใจให้ผู้ประสบภัยทุกคนลุกขึ้นยืนได้อีกครั้งในเร็ววัน
- ขออนุโมทนาในหัวจิตหัวใจอันประเสริฐของผู้เสียสละ ผู้อุทิศตนช่วยบ้านป้องเมืองในครั้งนี้ทุก ๆ ท่าน
พระมหากษัตริย์ เหล่าทหารหาญ และวีรชนคนกล้า เสียเลือดสละชีวิตเพื่อรวบรวมก้อนดินมาสร้างเป็นแผ่นดินให้พวกเราได้อยู่ได้อาศัยสืบกันมา ขอให้ความสามัคคีของชนในชาติ นำพาชาติไทยเราให้ผ่านพ้นวิกฤตในครั้งนี้ไปได้ และขอให้คนไทยเรากลับมารักกันเหมือนเดิมด้วยเถิด...
Through 79 years my grand mother has been experienced so many things in her life, she has never seen such severe flood like now before… No wonder, this must of course be the first time in my life through 30 years of my age to see this as well. Many provinces are destroyed by the crazy water. Teardrops of uncountable flood victims who become suddenly bankrupt and are so hungry are not that less than the high flood at all… Scattered houses are under water almost 3 meters. Agriculturist see their fruitage and crops die - - - this closes the door of earning for making a living and settling. It is commiserative to see farm owners cry like crazy knowing that their pigs, chicken and ducks are drowning but they can’t really help them because they themselves almost can’t save their life too! Focus on labors, these are affected directly - - - they try hard to protect their factories from the mad flood but they finally surrender. While I am writing this, rapid flood attacks the-seventh- industrial settlement. People race against time to protect our capital city, Bangkok from the high flood. By doing this is not for Bangkokers nor letting their houses drown but is saving our whole home country. If water attacks our Bangkok where the operation, relief, and restoration center is, as if the whole Thais drown without any doubt.
This minute I am still the minority of lucky people… Look at the map, I am in no. 2 area, it is Samut Prakan - - - only a province where is in the “White Area” means all is totally normal surrounded severely affected and critical areas. No. 1 in the map is Bangkok and some outside parts are right now affected. My home is still save because it is located in the estuary of the gulf of Thailand. Only the high water in the sea and Storm Surge can make my home drown. But I am not careless, my family and my self have been prepared.
The most beautiful pictures in memory I will tell the next generation are the picture that brave soldiers have been fighting with the water undiscouragedly, the picture shows charitable spirit people are racing against time to load sand in the bags for making the sand dikes and loading Emergency survival kits for flood victims, and the picture that some flood victims help the other victims who are affected more than them. Above all else, the most beautiful picture in my mind is the picture that His Majesty King Bhumibol had royal command, not to let officers and army protect the grand palace and all royal private houses of him and all royal family. Those officers should first only concentrate on helping people. I will never expect to see and hear that the royal private house of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn; "Chakri Bongkot Palace" already drown. Even that H.R.H. is so kind, open the palace where does not drown as the flood relief center. Herself even also goes by boat with her team to check the health of victims up. Her speech still touched my heart... "...I will not let officers and army pump water in my palace to outside because by doing this will certainly increase water outside and houses of people will be drown in the deep water..."
- I pray for Phra Siam Thewathirat and spirits of former kings protect our home from danger…
- I am supportive all flood victims, be strong and “stand up” again quickly.
- I do appreciate the golden heart of all sacrificers and volunteers who save our home country.
Former kings, dare soldiers and people congregated clod of earth became our land and protect this with their blood and life. We all have been living until the present... I do hope our unity will safe us and that we all will pass this crisis together certainly. Love each other like before, Thais!
