บางครั้งในชีวิตคนเรา อาจมีบ้างที่เราไม่ได้อะไรทุกอย่างที่ใจหวัง นี่เองจึงเป็นจุดเปลี่ยนเมื่อเราต้องเลือกที่จะรักษาอะไร และละทิ้งอะไร จะทำยังไงถ้าสิ่งนั้นกลับกลายเป็นสิ่งที่ใจบอกว่า " ใช่ " แต่หัวสั่งว่า " ไม่ "
" สติ " จะเป็นเครื่องนำทางให้คนเราก้าวเดินไปในทางที่ถูกและควรเสมอ จึงอาจกล่าวได้ว่า สติ จะเป็นเหมือนเปลวเทียนส่องแสงสว่างท่ามกลางดวงใจที่มืดบอดด้วยความสบสน ไม่ง่ายนักที่คนเราจะเลือกละทิ้งสิ่งที่ถูกใจเพื่อรักษาความถูกต้อง หากแต่การที่เราได้ออกแรงพยายามทำในสิ่งที่ถูกต้องก็ย่อมเป็นเรื่องที่น่าภาคภูมิใจมิใช่หรือ เพราะนี่คือสิ่งหนึ่งซึ่งเป็นความแตกต่างระหว่าง คน กับ สัตว์ ประการหนึ่ง
อาจพูดได้เต็มปากว่า การมีสติและเลือกทำในสิ่งที่ถูกต้อง เปรียบได้ดั่งการติดกระดุมเสื้อ เมื่อใดที่เราติดกระดุมเม็ดแรกผิด ไม่มีทางเป็นไปได้เลยแม้แต่น้อยที่กระดุมเม็ดอื่น ๆ จะถูกต้อง เช่นกัน หากเราขาดสติ และตั้งเป้าหมายผิดแล้ว เราจึงย่อมเดินอยู่บนทางที่ผิดอย่างไม่ต้องสงสัย

Consciousness will be like a compass to show us the right way. It is also still correctly to say consciousness is a candle light in the blind heart. It is not easy to throw the thing that satisfy us - - - but is not the right thing away. Be ensured that, as long as we try hard to maintain the right thing, we can be proud of ourself. Becuase this is the difference between human and animal actually.
Having consciousness and choosing to do only the right thing compares we button. When we do the first one wrong, the others must be wrong certainly as well as when we have no consciousness and aim to the wrong direction, we walk to the wrong way without any doubt.
